Mastery

A man sought to meet a Master;

When the Master was a student he grew tired of the world;

For what he saw in the world could only be called entertainment;

As a serious man devoted to his art;

He tried this and that;

He traversed deserts in the search of something;

Until he found his Art;

When asked, “What makes you win each time?”,

The Master replied, “I play not to win”

“Then why play?”

M: “There’s no need to play”

“what makes you so exceptional?”

M: “Because I’m not there anymore”

The man knew he had found a true Master.
